Til this day, I’ve completed 8 full months of journalism training. This training can range from learning all of the ins and outs of how to manage a twitter account as a professional journalist. It can also end off with how to properly video record and edit a news piece. I know 8 months doesn’t sound like a long time, but this program has packed so much learning, that I feel like I learn something new every day. The lessons I’ve learned throughout the program, allow me to beautifully segway my knowledge of hip hop and sports into full length articles. I thank the Humber College and especially the faculty, for the lessons you’ve taught me. I know I’ll be ready for the world once I get that diploma in my hands.
What I Learned so Far….

I love sports and Hip Hop. Hockey has been pumping through my veins since I said my first words. While Hip Hop has been the sound waves playing in my eyes since I knew how to form a sentence. I live in Vaughan, and in Vaughan I live in a small city called Concord. I've been writing since I signed off my birth certificate, and there's no stopping in sight. Sports writing entered my vision at around 16 when my passion for sports grew bigger than I ever expected. At 18, I settled down and realized that making this into a profession is possible. 2 years later, I'm less than two years away from learning all the essential information from being ready to enter the adrenaline-rushing world of sports writing.
